PEKANBARU - Riau Province Plantation Service has released prices for fresh fruit bunches from self-help partnerships for the period 11-17 December 2024.

Dr Defris Hatmaja, Head of Processing and Marketing, said that the highest price increase was in the 9 year age group, amounting to IDR128.74/Kg or reaching 3.52% from last week's price.

“So the purchase price for farmers' fresh fruit bunches for the next one week period will increase to IDR3,784.96/Kg with a shell price of IDR26.88/Kg," he said.

In this period, the K index used is the K index for the next 1 month, namely 92.92%, the selling price of crude palm oil this week increased by IDR481.49/kg from last week and the selling price of kernel this week increased by IDR648.98/kg from last week.

There are several Palm Oil Factories that do not make sales, based on Minister of Agriculture Regulation number 01 of 2018 article 8, the price of Crude Palm Oil and Kernel used is the average price of the team, if the price of CPO or kernel is subject to validation 2 then the average price of Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara Office.

“The average price of crude palm oil for the Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara Office is IDR15,864.00/Kg and the Kernel price for the Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara Office is IDR11,725.00/Kg,” he said.

This week's price increase was more due to rising prices for crude palm oil and kernels. Improving pricing governance is a serious effort from all stakeholders supported by the Riau Provincial Government and the Riau High Prosecutor's Office.

“This collective dedication will eventually have an influence on raising farmers' revenue, leading to communal welfare,” he said.
