PEKANBARU - Candidate pair for Governor and Deputy Governor of Riau Abdul Wahid-SF Hariyanto became the third candidate pair to carry out official registration at the General Election Commission (KPU) of Riau Province.

Interestingly, the couple was accompanied directly by the famous preacher Ustadz Abdul Somad (UAS). Unmitigated, Ustadz Abdul Somad even immediately became the driver driving the jeep in which Abdul Wahid-SF Hariyanto was traveling.

The three of them looked compact wearing white Malay clothes and songket as well as tanjak and red cap. The group was gathered by the locals as soon as they saw Ustadz Abdul Somad, who was also making the lion dance performance more exciting.

Upon arrival in front of the Riau General Election Commission (KPU), Chairman of the Riau General Election Commission Rusidi Rusdan draped a cloth as a sign of welcome to the regional head candidates to Abdul Wahid and SF Hariyanto.

The registration and file-checking procedure was still in progress prior to the release of this information.
